competent staffineffective acno drawer
the staff was very friendly and competent.
the a/c in my room was not effective , and it barely made a difference. the room felt stuffy , despite running the unit constantly. this made sleeping difficult. i also found that there was no drawer space.

I had a bottle of cava and banana bread in my room upon arrival. i also had ropes and bathroom sandals. The room was equipped perfectly. the receptionists are knowledgeable and very helpful, i left passports in the safe after checking out. they were great too contact me and kept everything intact until i picked it up.
the a/c in my room did not work well! it was very warm. i reported the problem and received a fan, though it didn't cool enough. it was the most expensive room of my trip and the least comfortable, though.

the hotel is centrally located in the eixample district. it is a short walk to placa de catalunya. this makes it easy to get around because there are metro stations nearby, though.
